Improper authentication in Perforce Akana API Platform before 2024.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to bypass SAML SSO validation. Perforce states that SAML SSO validation is broken but has not disclosed which assertion field, signature check, or validation routine is mishandled. Reachability requires SAML SSO to be enabled; successful abuse compromises data confidentiality and integrity without a reported service interruption.
