Code execution via Management Console use-after-free
Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 10, 2026
Use-after-free in Microsoft Management Console on affected Windows builds allows remote attackers to execute code after user interaction. Microsoft identifies the flaw as a use-after-free in Management Console but has not disclosed the freed object or attacker-controlled input that triggers its reuse. User interaction is required before arbitrary code execution can compromise data and service availability on the affected system.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
