Unauthenticated table manipulation via missing capability checks
Published Jun 1, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in wpDataTables Premium 6.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to access and modify tables through WordPress AJAX. Several functions in wdt_ajax_actions.php accept unauthenticated AJAX requests without checking the caller's WordPress capabilities before operating on data tables. No account is required, and the consequence is limited to unauthorized access to and modification of plugin-managed tables.
