Stored XSS via unescaped Banner widget attributes
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Jegtheme Jeg Kit for Elementor 2.6.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through Banner attributes. The Banner view renders user-supplied widget attributes without sufficient sanitization and output escaping, preserving attacker-controlled markup in pages. Contributor-level access is required, and the stored script executes whenever a user opens an injected page, enabling actions in that user's browser context.
