Information disclosure in .NET runtime TlsStream before 8.0.8 and affected Visual Studio releases allows remote attackers to read sensitive data. Microsoft identifies TlsStream as the locus but has not published the wrong operation it performs on untrusted TLS input. Exploitation requires user action and an affected .NET 8.0 application, including Visual Studio 17.6 before 17.6.18, 17.8 before 17.8.13, or 17.10 before 17.10.6; the consequence is confidentiality loss only.
