Stored XSS via unescaped single-module attributes
Published Jun 15, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in tagDiv Composer 4.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Author access to inject scripts through single-module attributes. The single module accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient input sanitization and renders them without adequate output escaping. Author-level access is required to store the payload; the script executes in the browser of any user who opens the affected page.
