CVE-2024-38128Network attack vector

Remote code execution via RRAS integer overflow

Published Aug 13, 2024 · Updated Jul 10, 2025

Integer overflow in Microsoft Windows RRAS on affected Windows Server releases allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The published record identifies integer wraparound in RRAS but does not disclose the affected function, field, or arithmetic operation on untrusted input. A user must cause the server to interact with attacker-controlled network content; successful exploitation runs attacker-chosen code on the server.
