Authenticated code execution via shortcode file inclusion
Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in Porto Theme - Functionality 3.1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP via a shortcode. The porto_portfolios shortcode passes its attacker-controlled portfolio_layout attribute into a PHP include operation without restricting the selected file. Contributor-level access is required, and code execution depends on placing an includable PHP file on the server; otherwise the flaw can expose local files or bypass access controls.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
