Buffer over-read in Microsoft Windows Remote Desktop Licensing Service allows remote attackers to interrupt the service over the network. The service reads beyond the end of a memory buffer while processing attacker-controlled input, but Microsoft has not identified the affected parser or message field. Exploitation requires the optional Remote Desktop Licensing role to be installed and reachable through its RPC-over-named-pipes interface, and the published impact is limited to availability.
