Resource exhaustion in Microsoft Windows Server's OCSP service allows remote attackers to interrupt certificate-status responses over the network. Microsoft identifies uncontrolled resource consumption in the Online Responder service but has not published the request pattern or resource mishandling that triggers exhaustion. An unauthenticated network path to an installed and configured Online Responder is required, and successful exploitation affects service availability only.
