SYSTEM privilege escalation via untrusted pointer dereference

Untrusted pointer dereference in the Windows Kernel allows local users with high privileges to gain SYSTEM access on affected servers. Microsoft has not published the kernel routine, object, or input path that accepts and dereferences the attacker-influenced pointer. Exploitation requires local access and high privileges, and successful abuse grants SYSTEM-level control with confidentiality, integrity, and availability consequences.
