Service interruption via malformed signalling message
Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
Improper input validation in Pexip Infinity before 35.0 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted signalling message. The signalling-message parser accepts malformed input and reaches a software-abort path instead of rejecting the message; Pexip has not disclosed the invalid field or precise validation error. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a successful request aborts the affected software rather than altering data.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
