Stored XSS via unsanitized INI configuration fields
Published Sep 20, 2024 · Updated Nov 1, 2024
Stored XSS in User-friendly SVN before 1.0.12 allows remote administrators to inject script through site branding configuration fields. USVN_Config::setSiteDatas writes title, icon, and logo values into the INI configuration without sanitizing untrusted input. Administrator access to /admin/config/save and later rendering to another user are required, allowing script execution in the viewer's browser.
