Authenticated SQL injection via reservation deletion parameter
Published Jun 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in CodeProjects Restaurant Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL via reserv_id. The reservation-deletion handler at includes/delete.php uses the POST parameter in a database query without neutralizing injected SQL syntax. A signed-in customer can submit time-based queries or use database-dumping tools to read or modify data accessible to the application account.
