Browser script execution via reflected session identifier
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 22, 2024
Reflected XSS in Gladinet CentreStack 13.12.9934.54690 allows remote authenticated users to run browser script via a crafted sessionId. The ForgotPassword.aspx page reflects ctl00$MainContent$FSessionId POST input into its response without sufficient validation, letting injected markup create a script element. Exploitation requires a victim to load the crafted response; the demonstrated payload executes in that browser's CentreStack origin.
