Unauthenticated command execution via username LDAP injection
Published Nov 22, 2024 · Updated Nov 27, 2024
LDAP injection in Gladinet CentreStack 13.12.9934.54690 allows remote attackers to read directory data or execute commands through login. The login portal inserts an unvalidated username into an Active Directory query; distinct failure responses and true-query timeouts expose a blind result oracle. Access to the unauthenticated login page is sufficient to enumerate usernames and other LDAP attributes; the CVE record also reports arbitrary command execution.
