Account takeover via unauthenticated password reset
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Oct 14, 2024
Missing authentication in Ai3 QbiBot 8.0.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset any user's password over the network. The password-reset feature processes a target user's reset request and changes the account password without first authenticating the requester. Anyone who can reach the service can take over another user's account by assigning a new password, with no credentials or user interaction required.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
