Database extraction via unparameterized profile theme value
Published Jul 1, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Blind SQL injection in Laymance Technologies MachForm before 19.0 allows remote authenticated users to extract database data. The my_account.php handler inserts the user_admin_theme profile value into the ap_sessions SQL statement without parameterization, enabling time-delay queries. Any signed-in account can submit the setting and infer database contents from response timing; the public proof of concept extracts the database user.
