Database read and modification via subject-field SQL injection
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Student Record System 3.20 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data via edit-subject.php. The handler incorporates the sub1, sub2, sub3, sub4, and udate POST values into a MySQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling time-based blind injection. An administrator session is required to reach the subject-edit workflow, and successful exploitation can disclose or alter application database records.
