Authentication bypass via login predicate injection
Published Apr 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Student Record System 3.20 allows remote attackers to bypass administrator authentication via login.php. The login handler accepts a crafted id value that changes its password-checking SQL predicate to an always-true condition, so the supplied password is not validated. No prior account or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants access to the administrative interface; broader database effects are not demonstrated.
