CVE-2024-37664Public exploit

Connection interruption via forged TCP resets

Published Jun 17, 2024 · Updated Nov 22, 2024

Improper TCP reset validation in Xiaomi Redmi Router AX6S Firmware 1.0.57 allows attackers to interrupt routed TCP sessions from the same WLAN. The router's NAT implementation accepts forged RST packets with a victim's source address and evicts the matching mapping, terminating traffic in both directions. Reachability requires WLAN access and an established victim-to-server session; the demonstrated outcome is a service interrupt, while traffic hijacking requires additional techniques.
