RTSP password disclosure via authenticated settings request
Published Jun 21, 2024 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Information disclosure in BAS-IP intercom firmware before 3.9.2 allows remote authenticated users to obtain stored RTSP passwords. The /api/v1/device/settings/rtsp endpoint returns the RTSP password in cleartext to an authenticated web-interface request. Administrator credentials and network access to the device are required; disclosure exposes the credential protecting its RTSP video stream.
