Sensitive-data disclosure via crafted credential update
Published Dec 18, 2024 · Updated Dec 31, 2024
Insecure permissions in SecureSTATION 2.5.5.3116-S50-SMA-B20160811A and earlier allow physically proximate attackers to read sensitive data. The device's credential-update handler accepts a crafted POST request that changes user credentials; the disclosure omits the request path, fields, and authorization failure. Physical proximity is required, and the altered credentials provide access to protected camera information without a reported integrity or availability impact.
