CVE-2024-37632Public exploit

Router crash via unchecked password decoding

Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A3700R Firmware 9.1.2u.6165_20211012 allows remote attackers to crash the router. The loginAuth handler URL-decodes the password field and stores the result in a stack buffer without checking its length. The login interface requires no prior privileges but must be reached from an adjacent network, and a crafted request can interrupt router availability.
