CVE-2024-37631Public exploit

Code execution or service interruption via unchecked copy

Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK A3700R Firmware 9.1.2u.6165_20211012 allows attackers to execute code or interrupt service. UploadCustomModule copies the attacker-controlled File value from v7 into the fixed-size v14 stack buffer without checking its length. The request reaches the router's management CGI from an adjacent network, and the published proof of concept supplies a session cookie.
