Browser script execution via unescaped num parameter
Published Jun 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Xinhu RockOA 2.6.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through the num parameter. The flowModel::initbase method inserts an unfiltered num value into an error message when no matching flow module exists. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted request, and successful script execution can read or alter data available to that user's RockOA session.
