Service interruption via unchecked HTTP input copy
Published Dec 17, 2024 · Updated Dec 17, 2024
Stack overflow in D-Link DCS-932L Rev B firmware 2.18.01 allows remote attackers on the adjacent network to interrupt camera service. The HTTP request path copies attacker-controlled data without checking its size, overflowing a stack buffer; public reports do not name the affected handler or parameter. No authentication or user interaction is required, but the attacker must share an adjacent network; the documented consequence is loss of availability only.
