Heap-based buffer overflow in HMDFS in OpenHarmony 4.0.0 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code in the TCB. OpenHarmony identifies kernel_linux_5.10 as affected but has not published the faulty function or operation that overruns heap storage. Exploitation requires local low-privilege access and crosses a security boundary into the trusted computing base.
