CVE-2024-37570Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized ftpget arguments

Published Jun 9, 2024 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Command injection in Mitel 6869i SIP Phone 4.5.0.41 and 5.0.0.10.18sp1 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The upgrade.html handler appends unsanitized username and path values to BusyBox ftpget, so shell $() syntax is evaluated. Access to the authenticated firmware-update interface is required, and injected commands execute in the phone's operating context.
