Published Jul 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in BracketSpace Simple Post Notes 1.7.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers. Note placeholder and label settings are stored without proper user-data sanitization and are later rendered without complete output escaping. Exploitation requires Administrator access and a privileged user action; injected script then runs when a visitor loads affected content.
