Arbitrary file upload via cross-site request forgery
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in ZealousWeb Generate PDF using Contact Form 7 4.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to upload arbitrary files. Patchstack identifies a forged privileged-user action and dangerous file upload, but neither it nor the vendor names the affected handler or failed validation. Successful exploitation requires a privileged administrator to perform the forged action while authenticated; the established consequence is storage of an unrestricted file.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
