Admin-session script execution via reflected parameters
Published Jul 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in Kiboko Labs Ltd. Hostel before 1.1.5.3 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted booking parameters. The Manage Bookings edit page places the offset and type query values into its response without sanitizing the input or escaping the output. Exploitation requires a signed-in high-privilege user such as an administrator to open a crafted link, after which the script runs in that user's WordPress administration session.
