Reflected XSS via unescaped request input
Published Jul 21, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in WP Directory Kit 1.3.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through crafted requests to a WordPress site. Public advisories attribute the flaw to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping but do not identify the affected parameter, function, or rendering path. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to follow a crafted link or perform another attacker-directed action, after which script runs in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
