Privilege escalation in Dylan James Zephyr Project Manager 3.3.97 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. The plugin passes user metadata through update_user_meta without properly verifying the update, allowing account capabilities to be changed. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the resulting Administrator role grants full control of the WordPress site.
