Local file overwrite via world-writable installation directory
Published Apr 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Improper access control in Measuresoft ScadaPro 6.9.0.0 allows local users to overwrite files in its installation tree. The default Windows ACL on C:\ScadaPro and its entire descendant tree grants write access to unprivileged users instead of restricting modification. Any local low-privilege account can alter ScadaPro files, compromising their integrity without the CNA reporting confidentiality or availability impact.
