Authenticated code execution via dangerous file upload
Published Jul 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in WPZita Zita Site Library for Elementor 1.6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload a web shell. Public advisories do not identify the affected upload handler or explain which server-side file-type validation is absent or bypassed. Subscriber-level WordPress access is sufficient, and successful upload enables attacker-supplied code to run in the web server context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=1.6.1
