File access via unchecked addOver directory path
Published Apr 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Path traversal in cym1102 nginxWebUI 3.9.0 through 3.9.9 allows remote authenticated users to access paths outside the intended directory. The /adminPage/www/addOver handler passes the attacker-controlled dir value to findCountByQuery without enforcing that the resulting path remains within the expected directory. An authenticated administrative session is required; successful traversal exposes files reachable by the privileged server process, while broader code execution is not established for this CVE.
