CVE-2024-37367Network attack vector

Unauthenticated HMI project disclosure via unverified packets

Published Jun 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Improper authentication in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View SE 12 allows remote attackers to view HMI projects via a packet. Server-side FTView packet handling returns the requested HMI project without validating authentication; Rockwell has not named the handler or packet format. No credentials or user interaction are required, but the attacker must have FTView and network access to the customer server; disclosure is limited to HMI project data.
