Administrative session interference via crafted-link XSS
Published Jun 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Absolute Secure Access before 13.06 allows remote attackers to alter an administrator's UI session via a crafted link. The policy management UI renders attacker-controlled link input without adequate neutralization, although Absolute has not identified the affected parameter or rendering sink. Exploitation requires an attacking administrator authenticated to the console and a victim administrator who follows the link, with no reported data disclosure or service interruption.
