Administrator session manipulation via pool configuration script
Published Jun 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Absolute Secure Access before 13.06 allows remote authenticated users to alter an administrator's session. The pool-configuration component accepts a limited-length script from a system administrator and later runs it in another administrator's browser. Exploitation requires system-administrator access and interaction by a second administrator; it changes session integrity without disclosing data or interrupting service.
