CVE-2024-37342Network attack vector

Authenticated memory disclosure via out-of-bounds read

Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Aug 10, 2026

Out-of-bounds reads in Microsoft SQL Server 2017 through 2022 allow remote authenticated users to disclose process memory. Microsoft identifies Native Scoring as the affected component but has not published the function, input, or operation that causes the out-of-bounds read. A valid SQL Server login is required; successful exploitation exposes memory and can also reduce service availability.
