CVE-2024-37295Network attack vector

Administrator-level code execution via retained failed uploads

Published Jun 11, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Arbitrary code execution in Aimeos Core 2024.01.1 through 2024.04.4 allows remote authenticated users to run PHP via image uploads. The Media Manager upload method writes an allowed-MIME file before image scaling, and a scaling failure leaves the file in web-accessible storage. Administrative access to media uploads is required, and exploitation executes attacker-supplied PHP with web-server privileges.
