CVE-2024-3721Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated command execution via crafted DVR parameters

Published Apr 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

OS command injection in TBK Vision DVR-4104 and DVR-4216 through 20240412 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The device.rsp SOSTREAMAX handler passes attacker-controlled mdb and mdc parameter content to a shell without neutralizing command syntax. The public request includes a uid cookie, matching the CNA's low-privilege rating; successful requests compromise device control.
