Relative path traversal in Dell PowerProtect DD allows remote authenticated users to send an unauthorized file from DDMC to a managed system. Dell identifies DDMC as the affected locus but has not disclosed which path value escapes its intended directory or which transfer operation accepts it. Administrative privileges are required, and the bounded consequence is an unauthorized file write on a managed system.
