Authenticated-user actions via permissive cross-origin policy
Published Jun 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-origin policy bypass in Dell Secure Connect Gateway Policy Manager 5.18.20 through 5.22.00.18 lets remote attackers act as users. Dell has not disclosed which response or policy directive trusts an untrusted origin, or which application requests become cross-origin reachable. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires interaction by an authenticated user, and successful abuse executes actions with that user's application privileges.
