Heap overflow in VMware vCenter Server 7.0 and 8.0, including Cloud Foundation 4.x and 5.x, allows remote attackers to execute code. Broadcom identifies the locus as the DCERPC implementation but has not disclosed the packet field, parsing routine, or incorrect bounds operation. Network access is the only reported gate, and successful exploitation permits remote code execution on the vCenter Server.
