Topology poisoning in Linux Foundation OpenDaylight 0.15.3 allows remote authenticated users to redirect network flows through REST APIs. OpenDaylight lets an authorized application or any cluster-controller role install high-priority flow entries that reroute intact LLDP discovery packets, so benign controllers trust manipulated endpoints and record fabricated or missing links. Exploitation requires topology, node, and flow-table read access plus flow-table write access; poisoned routes can attract traffic to an eavesdropping point or exclude it from monitoring without interrupting flows.
