CVE-2024-37007

Code execution via X_B/X_T object use-after-free

Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025

Use-after-free in pskernel.DLL in Autodesk AutoCAD-based products allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted X_B or X_T file. The X_T parser performs operations on an object without first validating that it still exists, leaving freed memory reachable during parsing. A user must visit a malicious page or open the file, and successful exploitation runs code in the current application process on Windows.
