Code execution via SLDPRT use-after-free
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Use-after-free in affected Autodesk AutoCAD 2022 through 2025 builds allows local users to execute code via a crafted SLDPRT file. ASMKERN229A.dll accesses freed object memory while parsing attacker-controlled SLDPRT content; Autodesk has not disclosed the affected function. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and runs code in the current process, bounding access to that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
