Code execution via crafted DWG or SLDPRT parsing
Published Jun 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Stack-based overflow in Autodesk AutoCAD-based products 2022 through 2025 allows local users to execute code via crafted DWG or SLDPRT files. The opennurbs.dll and ODXSW_DLL.dll parsers overwrite stack memory while processing malformed file data. Exploitation requires a user to open the file; resulting code runs in the current process, while alternate outcomes include a crash or sensitive-data disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
